Machine Learning and Finance

About Me

Hi! I am a third year student at the University of Toronto studying Computer Science Specialist (Focus in Artificial Intelligence) and Math Major. I grew up on the West coast of Canada in Victoria, British Columbia. My hobbies include painting, reading, travelling, and playing the violin!

I am passionate about finance, math, and machine learning. During the first year of my undergrad degree, I studied Finance through the Rotman Commerce program along with a CS Major and interned at National Bank of Canada as an Investment Banking analyst over summer 2021. However, through the exposure to my quantitative classes, I discovered my passion for using mathematical logic and applications of machine learning to solve problems in Finance -- hence the switch to CS and Math in my second year of undergrad.
